I have to drop the weight of words
To know what Spirit says to me.
Free from spoken doctrine’s cords,
A whole new world is mine to see.
Thanks for Reading! Be Blessed!

What’s within teaches
If we would sit still, listen,
and act in response.

When it comes to Divine,
Sometimes words are fine.
Yet I’m here to report
They all simply fall short.
Rest in Unknowing.
Keep the Mystery going.
It’s our ignorance showing;
Our own horn we are blowing
When we claim to see
All that could possibly
Make up Eternity.
So it’s best we just Be.

Sacred things need not be named.
That which is “Other” won’t be tamed.
For all our words and practiced forms,
To none of it will G-D conform.
What’s best and all too challenging,
To sit and see what Spirit brings,
I think is what we all might need
To grow and from our pains be freed.
The silence puts me most at ease,
Moreso than anybody sees.
While I seem at home in speech,
It’s in the quiet that I reach
A place of solace, comfort, peace
That helps my fear and woes release.
When noises cease, I fin’lly hear
The Light inside, so loud and clear.
Though the world be loud
And insist you play along
You’ve no oblogation
To join the noisy throng.
Come away a while
To that solitary peak.
Soothe your soul and ease your mind,
And let the silence speak.
